We are looking for the right person to join the team as our new Quality Expert.

About this opportunity


We describe quality requirements for Transaction Monitoring in Transaction Monitoring & Sanction Investigations and follow up on adherence to these requirements by executing quality controls including release controls and regular Quality Reviews. Through these controls and feedback, training, and individually tailored sessions we enable TM in TMSI to deliver high-quality investigations. 
 

You will play a valuable role in:

  • Ensuring completion of regular reviews of the quality of Transaction Monitoring Investigations’ decisions to close alerts, cases and file SARs. Reviews focus on automated scenarios, Correspondent Banking, Trade Finance and Capital Markets Transaction monitoring investigations.
  • Advising TMSI as an SME and manage local stakeholder communication.
  • Further developing TM Quality Management through interactions with all members of the community, local and global stakeholders, and direct investigator interactions.
  • Owning ad hocs tasks that are dynamic and challenging where you will independently be responsible for securing optimal outcomes, for instance improving ways of working through implementing Continuous Improvement items such as developing training material, performing training for TMSI and following up on results. 
  • Own and drive part of ongoing action plans to secure compliance with regulations, in addition to instructions, directives and guidelines. 
  • Representing the best interests of GFCP and providing support where appropriate, including fora and workshops.

Your experience and background: 

  • You have experience with transaction monitoring investigations.
  • University degree.
  • Good English and Finnish or Swedish written and spoken communication skills.
  • It is beneficial if you are fluent in either Danish, Norwegian, Finnish or Swedish.
  • It would be considered an asset, but not a requirement, to be fluent in Estonian.
