The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating and managing content related to Information Technology (IT) for our organization. The IT Content Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining clear, concise, and engaging content that effectively communicates complex IT concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, candidates would also be expected to assist in the communication, organization, and delivery of internal events on behalf of our IT Community. Your Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various IT materials, including blog posts, whitepapers, and marketing collateral.
• Translate technical information into user-friendly content for diverse audiences.
• Maintain and update existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and IT professionals to gather information and incorporate technical details into content.
• Work closely with the comms team to align content with overall comms strategies and goals.
• Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge by creating training materials, guides, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct regular content audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to style guidelines.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in the IT industry, with extra consideration for experience with cloud technology and migration/modernisation topics.
  
  

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in communication, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Content Specialist, Content Writer, or in a similar role within the IT industry.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in content management systems and basic knowledge of HTML, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and moderation opportunities.
