What will be your challenge in this role?

As an SDET, your role will involve performing certain tests and developing software specifically for testing, such as tools, frameworks, and automated tests. You will work on enhancing the quality of existing applications by designing and performing tests yourself but also create and maintain test automation routines. Additionally, you will collaborate with the devops team on CI/CD Pipelines to facilitate accurate continuous delivery and establish a Pipeline Driven Organization. Your daily tasks will include the following:

  • Develop and perform Manual and Automated tests to ensure high product quality.
  • Create test plans, scrutinize the requirements, and formulate test cases.
  • Establish traceability links from the test cases to the requirements, assess the system's quality, and track test case metrics.
  • Prototype, design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks.
  • Automate test cases for new functionalities and perform regression testing for upcoming releases.
  • Investigate test failures, determine the root cause, and support the team to resolve defects efficiently
  • Monitor the product's development and usage to enhance its quality.
  • Set up virtual test environments for isolating product testing and generating reports.
  • Proactively collaborate with the developers and the other SDETs to ensure and achieve comprehensive test coverage, helping the team to keep focus on quality
  • Mentoring team members with new testing technologies and methodologies

You will be using technologies:
  • Jira, Confluence
  • Visual Studio, Specflow with Gherkin, Postman
  • C#, .Net, JavaScript, JSON, XML
  • RestSharp, Rest Assured, Cucumber, SQL
  • Azure DevOps, Allure Reports
  • K6, JMeter or other Load Testing tools

What will help you to succeed in the role?
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Development in Test with multiple projects and technologies.
  • Exhibit excellent knowledge and experience of various types and methodologies of testing.
  • Having ISTQB and other testing-related certificates is a big plus
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Automation tools and frameworks, with a particular emphasis on BDD tooling (such as and Specflow using Gherkin).
  • Have experience in developing automation test frameworks from the ground up and have a proven track record of implementing automated solutions.
  • Possess strong experience in developing and testing complex API interfaces.
  • Understand and have experience with CI/CD, Dependency Management, and Source Control tools.
  • Have experience working with Microservices Architecture and in DevOps environments/teams

You strive to improve the product and drive quality in the project, have good communication skills, and know how to communicate with different businesses and tech stakeholders. You speak English fluently. It would be a huge benefit if you have a background in the fintech domain.
