To collaborate with the DPO Team, acknowledging their opinions/advice, official guidance and statutory codes among other authoritative sources, and operate within the internal engagement playbooks here at Bolt.
To identify and monitor developments in privacy laws, regulatory guidance and best practices in the markets Bolt operates in and proactively identify gaps for remediation.
To draft and negotiate various data protection contracts and agreements, including those most complex data-sharing arrangements with important third parties including commercial partners and public authority partnerships.
To advise on data transfers and other international obligations, undertaking the drafting and negotiation, where appropriate, for data processing agreements and model clauses.
To complete privacy risk assessments, legitimate interest assessments, data protection impact assessments, transfer impact assessments etc as required.
To help drive and promote the Privacy Team as a centre for excellence within Bolt.
To help drive privacy and data protection as a comparative commercial advantage for Bolt.
To assist in all other necessary tasks that are typically associated with a Junior Privacy Counsel position as and when those requirements arise from the business.
To cooperate with other members of the Legal Function and other support functions (i.e. Public Policy, Finance, Tax, Customer Support, Marketing etc) to ensure holistic, appropriate advice and guidance is delivered to the business.
To assist with miscellaneous work that is consistent with the role of a Junior Privacy Counsel as required by the Head of Privacy.

About you:

You have completed a legal qualification at a reputable university/law school and are authorised to practice law.
You have 1+ years of experience specializing in privacy law at a law firm or international organisation.

You are an excellent communicator both in writing and orally.
Bolt offers flexible remote working as a technology based company, but there will be an expectation that the Junior Privacy Counsel attends the Tallinn office for minimum 2 days a week.
