We are seeking an experienced Sr. Progress Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Progress 4GL / OpenEdge.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy business applications using Progress 4GL / OpenEdge.
- Maintain and enhance existing Progress-based applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements.
- Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices and development standards.
- Perform unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and system issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the modernisation and migration of legacy Progress applications to modern architectures or platforms if needed.
- Document technical specifications, application logic, and support guides.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of deployed solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience with Progress 4GL / OpenEdge development.
- Experience with Progress database management and tuning.
- Familiarity with Progress AppServer, WebSpeed, or PASOE is a plus.
- Solid understanding of database structures, data modeling, and SQL.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and other integration technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to manage tasks and timelines independently or as part of a team.
