Senior Data Engineer – Financial Reporting Unit

Role Overview:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-grade data solutions for the Financial Reporting Unit. You will drive innovation in data engineering practices, mentor junior engineers, and ensure data quality, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement robust data pipelines and real-time streaming solutions using Kafka, Spark, or Flink.

Lead the design of data models and data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and analytics.

Oversee deployment and monitoring of data infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Drive adoption of Airflow, dbt, and other orchestration and transformation tools.

Collaborate with data governance, compliance, and reporting teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment.

Produce high-quality documentation and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills:

10+years of experience in data engineering, with leadership in large-scale data projects.

Expert-level skills in SQL, Python, and working knowledge of Java.

Deep experience with cloud platforms, streaming frameworks, and container orchestration.

Proven track record in building secure, scalable, and compliant data platforms.

Strong communication and leadership skills in English.
