Maintenance Utility Helper

Job Summary
ETSU is currently seeking a full-time permanent Maintenance Utility Helper at the Johnson City campus. Employees in this class are under close supervision. Work performed in this position assists a semi-skilled worker in a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks including: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry; performing related work as required. Facilities employees may be required to report at their regularly scheduled times during emergency closures or during inclement weather to perform essential functions including snow removal duties. Ability to work day or evening shifts as well as weekends. Successful completion of a background check is required for this position. All positions at East Tennessee State University are contingent upon sufficient funding. The value of employment at ETSU goes far beyond salary. Required Qualifications
