The Department of Surgery invites applications for two board-certified/eligible Acute Care Surgeons to join our team in a dynamic academic clinical-track position as Assistant/Associate Professors. Successful candidates will play a vital role in our Level 1 trauma and acute care surgical center, as well as our Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Clinical responsibilities will encompass comprehensive trauma patient care, ICU management, and general emergency surgery. A key aspect of this position is the opportunity to educate and mentor general surgery residents and medical students, fostering the next generation of surgical professionals. Required Qualifications
Must be board eligible or board certified at the time of hire. Applicants must have completed a fellowship and possess added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care at the time of hire. Candidates should have a strong interest in teaching and clinical research.
