Mission

The Tallinn store is looking for a future Department Leader who is ready to accept challenges and grow together with the team. 

The store is located in Kurna Park, next to the IKEA store, directly connected to the city center less than 20 minutes by bus and cycle path.

Decathlon Tallinn in a few figures, it is:

- 6000m2 of store (the biggest sport store in the Baltics)

- from 50 to 70 teammates, depending on seasonality

- more than 15 million euros of turnover in 2024

The Tallinn store opened in August 2023 and just celebrated its first year. From day one, we have placed a high focus on ensuring that every person who visits our store leaves with an unforgettable experience. Our motto is - SATISFIED OR SATISFIED

What you'll be doing:

  • You will be responsible for a turnover of 2-7 million Euros, depending on the size of the department.

  • You will lead a team of 5 to 18 teammates including work-study students and evolving profiles, with the support of a team of fixed-term contracts during your peak times.

  • Leading your team by accompanying and supporting them in their professional store projects and personal development.

  • Performing monthly individual meetings with members of your team.

  • Welcoming customers and informing them about our products and services, suggesting related items that add value and meet each customer's needs.

  • Overseeing the smooth operation of your department by ensuring consistency with the store's strategy.

  • Look for opportunities to promote the success of your department and entire store, including department sales and market analysis.

  • Receiving and stocking merchandise efficiently to make products available to our customers as quickly as possible.

  • Contributing to the company's ongoing improvement.
