The Job in a Nutshell
In this role, you'll handle the day-to-day accounting activities for a group of international companies, applying IFRS principles to accurately process, evaluate, and interpret financial data from various sources. You'll be part of a collaborative global finance team that plays a key role in strategic planning and decision-making across the business. The wider Finance function covers FP&A, investor relations, corporate development, tax, accounting, and treasury, with team members based in Estonia, the UK, and the USA.
A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Actively participating in the monthly closing process for the group of companies, including preparing journal entries, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Entering data such as purchase invoices, expense and travel reports, and bank payments.
- Registering and reconciling bank statements and payment provider statements.
- Assisting in monthly expense variance analysis.
You're good at
- Completed or ongoing degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of finance experience, especially in AP, preferably in an international environment
- You have a solid understanding of Estonian VAT rules.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with one or more accounting software programs.
- You are independent and proactive team player with strong communication skills and an international mindset.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture and adapt in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction. Estonian is a plus.
