Role Overview
As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will work on backend development across several internal and client-facing platforms. You'll contribute to improving existing systems, designing new features, integrating APIs, and ensuring high performance and reliability. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
- Design, integrate, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL to design efficient, scalable data models.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices.
- Ensure application performance, security, and stability.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and containerized environments.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Understanding of JavaScript for basic frontend interactions.
- Experience building and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (the role involves communication with international teams).
