Our AI-powered product uses advanced image recognition, facial verification, face recognition, facial anti-spoofing (liveness detection), and behavior analysis to make identity decisions.
We help our partners build onboarding processes that ensure good people get things done and bad folks get stopped.
In order to take our product to the next level, we're seeking an experienced team member to
join our Biometric Solutions team as a Software Engineer.
As a part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our real-time Verification Platform, focusing on critical aspects like security, scalability, and maintainability. Your role is crucial in designing and developing new systems that support Veriff's vision to build trust online through a reliable and user-friendly Identity Verification Platform.
You'll Help Us Protect Honest People Online By
- Taking charge of the design, documentation, and validation processes for product and system development, ensuring top-notch quality and innovation
- Building, testing, and maintaining our automation services using Python, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our platform
- Working closely with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts, both within and outside the team, to tackle complex challenges and drive forward our vision for identity verification
- Owning and nurturing cross-functional partnerships, including working with dependency engineering teams and product stakeholders, to align goals and strategies
- Mentoring and guiding the team, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and aligned with our mission
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have
- Over 3 years of experience building large-scale applications with Python
- A strong understanding of modular design approaches and SOLID principles, particularly in distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with building scalable and maintainable APIs and message-queuing concepts
- Proficiency in various test strategies, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions.
- Solid understanding of fundamental relational database concepts
- Familiarity with structured logging systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and motivate technical ideas to both engineers and non-engineers
