Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Back-End Developer to join our engineering team. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the server side of our Shopify applications and services, working with Go, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL to build scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust, scalable back-end services and APIs
  • Build and maintain GraphQL APIs for our Shopify applications
  • Develop and optimize database schemas and queries
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Go code
  • Build AI-powered features and integrations using modern AI/LLM APIs
  • Implement and maintain data processing pipelines
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate API endpoints
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of professional back-end development experience
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Go (Golang)
    • PostgreSQL
    • GraphQL
    • Version control (Git)
  • B2/C1 level proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Experience with database design and optimization
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of API design best practices
  • Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Understanding of AI application architecture and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Shopify app development
  • Experience building marketing & data & analytics solutions
  • Understanding of Shopify's APIs and webhooks
  • Knowledge of e-commerce systems and workflows
  • Experience with:
    • Docker and containerization
    • Cloud platforms (AWS)
    • Message queuing systems
    • Caching strategies
  • Previous experience building AI-powered applications
