Job Summary
The Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join the Department of Finance and Administration. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all financial operations and controls for the College, ensuring financial integrity and supporting key decision-making. As the primary backup for the Associate Dean, Assistant Dean, and Director of Finance, you will play a crucial part in maintaining seamless financial operations across the department. The Financial Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and collaborate on special projects both within ETSU and with the Medical Education Assistance Corporation ( MEAC ). This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and advancement, with the potential for promotion based on exemplary performance and contributions. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, analyzing budgets, forecasting, and assisting in the development of financial strategies that align with the goals of the college. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of financial controls, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Three (3) years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Four (4) years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role. Experience in healthcare finance or in a medical or academic setting is highly preferred
