PRN Staff Dentist

Job Summary
East Tennessee State University, College of Nursing, is seeking a temporary Staff Dentist at the Johnson City Community Health Center ( JCCHC ), a state-of-the-art facility on par with any of its kind in the United States. Funded by a generous grant from the U.S. Department of Health Resources and Services Administration, it was established through the vision of leaders at ETSU , the College of Nursing and the College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences, all of whom are dedicated to providing access to basic health care services for all in our community and region. Under the direction of the Dental Clinic Manager/Executive Director, the staff dentist is responsible for the provision of professional, high-­quality dental treatment and education and/or consultation to a broad range of patients at the Johnson City Community Health Center Dental Clinic. Required Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in general dentistry. Current Iicensure in the state of Tennessee. Valid DEA license to prescribe narcotics. Current CPR / AED certification.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional advanced degree in business, public health, healthcare administration or related field of study.
