We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Markets, Wealth, Pensions and Treasury team and work on building and optimizing data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle or Sybase data warehouse technologies and a willingness to learn modern Data Lakehouse architectures.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Work with Oracle or Sybase-based data warehouses to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Learn and implement Data Lakehouse concepts and technologies.
What We Expect:
- Oracle (DWH) experience or Sybase (DWH) experience: T-SQL, SAP Sybase IQ, SAP Data Services.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to Data Lakehouse technologies.
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Data Lakehouse technologies: S3 buckets, Parquet files, Python, Iceberg tables.
