Temporary - Custodian

Job Summary
Applicants may apply to this posting if they are interested in being included in a pool of applicants who will accept a temporary custodian assignment. Applicants will be contacted directly by the Facilities Department when temporary help is needed. Employees in this class are under close supervision. Essential Functions: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the public areas of academic and administrative buildings, medical facilities or residence halls and apartments. Assist with maintaining assigned grounds areas; performs all assigned cleaning duties. Must be able to work any shift. Facilities employees may be required to report at their regularly scheduled times during emergency closures or during inclement weather to perform essential functions including snow removal duties. Required Qualifications
Successful completion of eighth grade.
