Underwriting Manager (Consumer credit)

Your job is to lead and develop the underwriting and pricing operations for our consumer credit products. You will be responsible for reviewing, building, and continuously improving underwriting flows, pricing strategies, and onboarding processes across the Baltic markets. You will work closely with internal teams including Finance, Customer Success, and Product to ensure high-conversion, compliant, and risk-aware issuance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and drive a strategic vision for underwriting and pricing operations across the region
  • Take full ownership of key underwriting and onboarding processes and continuously improve them
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive impactful initiatives
  • Use data and insights to refine our pricing and risk strategies
  • Ensure our underwriting logic evolves with business needs and remains aligned with regulatory expectations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in underwriting, credit risk, or consumer lending operations
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, risk-based scoring models, and onboarding funnel optimisation
  • A structured mindset with the ability to analyze, monitor, and improve operational flows on a daily, monthly, and campaign basis
  • Data-driven, with the ability to work closely with Finance and Analytics to identify trends and implement improvements
  • Clear and confident communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with tiered pricing and campaign testing is an advantage
