Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Purchasing Manager located in Ahtme, with some work from home allowed. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, overseeing inventory levels, ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies, and collaborating with various departments to meet production needs. The role also includes monitoring market trends, making buying decisions, and ensuring that the procurement process aligns with the company's goals and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing and procurement, and contract negotiation
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and supplier relationship management
• Analytical skills for market trend monitoring and decision making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Relevant certifications like CPM or CPSM are a plus
• Proven experience in a similar role in the food industry is advantageous
