Job Summary
East Tennessee State University ( ETSU ) is looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of marketing and communications projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will serve as the central point of contact between creative, digital, and communications teams, managing timelines, resources, and budgets while addressing potential risks and delays. Your role will be crucial in coordinating personnel and facilitating seamless communication across teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently. As a Project Manager, you will also collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to manage the annual budget, track project expenditures, and ensure vendor payments are processed in a timely manner. You will ensure that all deliverables meet quality and brand standards and continually look for ways to improve workflows and project management processes. This is a dynamic and impactful position, offering the chance to contribute to high-profile projects while enhancing team collaboration and effectiveness at ETSU . Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or traffic management, preferably in a marketing or communications environment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education marketing or a similar industry. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms. Familiarity with print production processes.
