Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia Wise Full time €50,000 - €120,000 per year

Company Description
Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world's money.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.
Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.
Job Description
More about
our mission
and
what we offer
.

We are looking for a brilliant problem-solver to lead the transformation of our entire Third-party Management & Procurement landscape. This isn't about writing code or building software; it's about deeply understanding our business challenges and designing elegant, automated solutions using our powerful suite of platforms.
You will be the central figure who orchestrates how our Third Party Risk, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams work with thousands of external partners. Your role is to be the expert translator: breaking down complex business needs into logical steps and then using your deep platform knowledge to build seamless, intelligent workflows. You will not manage people, but you will lead the most critical cross-functional processes in the company, making us faster, smarter, and safer.
What You'll Do: Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Strategize the Solution:
  • Deconstruct the Problem: Start with the business problem, not the tool. Lead workshops with senior stakeholders to map complex, end-to-end processes, identify the true sources of friction, and uncover opportunities for simplification.
  • Design the Optimal Flow: Architect the future state. Design logical and scalable workflows, data models, and user journeys that create a simple and intuitive experience.
  • Own the Platform Strategy: Become the foremost expert on our TPM platform's capabilities and limitations. Advise SMEs/leadership on how to best leverage the tool and its integrations to meet our strategic goals.
  • Configure & Automate:
  • Build the Solution: Take your designs and bring them to life through hands-on configuration. Build, test, and deploy sophisticated workflows, approval chains, and automations using the platform's native, low-code/no-code tools.
  • Master the Integrations: Design and manage the flow of data between our TPM platform and other key systems (ERP, CLM, etc.). While you will not be directly performing the integrations, you will collaborate closely with integration teams and should possess a strong understanding of how these systems communicate seamlessly.
  • Implement Practical AI: Leverage the platform's/Wise's internal AI tools capabilities for smart routing, risk classification, data extraction, and other use cases that deliver tangible automation benefits.
  • Enable & Govern:
  • Drive Adoption: Champion the way of working. Develop clear documentation, lead training sessions, and create robust feedback loops to ensure users feel empowered and supported.
  • Provide Actionable Insight: Configure and manage the reporting and dashboards that give leadership a clear, real-time view of our third-party risk posture, onboarding times, and overall process health.

Ensure Rock-Solid Operations: Manage the day-to-day governance of the platform, including interaction with the external partners (vendors), maintaining data integrity, and troubleshooting complex functional issues.
Qualifications
Who You Are: The Profile of Our Lead
You are a master of translating complex business problems into elegant, automated solutions. You thrive on untangling messy processes and have a passion for using technology to make work simpler and more efficient for everyone.
Your Core Strengths Are

  • Deep Process Thinking: You are an expert at mapping business processes (i.e BPMN), identifying root causes, and design/redesigning systems from a user-centric perspective.
  • Platform Mastery: You have deep, hands-on expertise in configuring and administering at least 1-2 major enterprise platforms that we use in the Third Party Risk and Procurement Processes. You know how to push these tools to their limits without writing custom code. We will help you get up to speed to understand the tools we use internally.
  • A Systems Integration Mindset: You naturally see how different systems should connect and have experience making them talk to each other.
  • Exceptional Problem-Solving & Communication: You excel at listening to stakeholder needs, articulating complex ideas in simple terms, and guiding diverse groups toward a common solution.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications)

  • Have experience in a similar role, such as a Business Systems Analyst, Solutions Architect, or Process Automation Specialist.
  • Demonstrable expertise in the procurement and/or third-party risk management lifecycle. You must understand the key process steps, challenges, and control points.
  • Proven, hands-on experience configuring and administering business platforms like CLM, TPRM, or Procurement systems.
  • Nice to have: Experience with iPaaS/low-code integration tools for connecting SaaS applications.

Success In This Role Looks Like

  • A dramatic reduction in manual handoffs and a shorter, simpler vendor onboarding process.
  • High user adoption and satisfaction with the new platform and processes.
  • You can effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, actively listen to their needs, adapt to evolving requirements, learn from feedback, and guide decisions based on established principles.
  • Stakeholders have clear, reliable data and dashboards to make informed decisions, focusing on KPIs and using numbers to drive decisions.
  • You are the trusted advisor for all stakeholders on how to improve and automate third-party processes.

Additional Information

As part of your application, please submit a cover letter along with your CV.
In your cover letter, please briefly answer the following question (in approximately 250 words or 3-4 slides):
Imagine Wise already uses a modern tool for our vendor InfoSec (Information Security) assessments. However, the process is still slow. Our key bottleneck is that it takes vendors a very long time to fill out the security questionnaires, which delays the end to end onboarding process.
Your first task is to solve this. Instead of jumping to a final answer, please outline your approach:

  • What are the first few steps you would take to diagnose why the vendors are so slow to complete the assessments?
  • Based on what you might find, briefly describe two different types of solutions you would propose. (For example, one solution might be a process change, while another could be a technical change within our existing tool).

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.

Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
