INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

Your mission

You'll be one of the people behind the critical systems that power Estonia's and Europe's trusted digital identity services.

Your goal? To keep our infrastructure resilient, secure, and future-proof — whether it's on metal or in the cloud.

Your role:

  • Own and maintain storage, SAN, and archiving systems
  • Work hands-on with hardware — install, configure, repair
  • Support and co-manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Monitor system health, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with other tech teams and ensure compliance and security
  • Bring fresh ideas to modernize on-prem infrastructure through automation and IaC
  • Step in to support virtualization and backup operations when needed

You bring:

  • Solid Linux skills and curiosity about how systems really work
  • Knowledge of storage and SAN technologies
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
  • Familiarity with automation or configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform — or interest to learn)
  • Working knowledge of virtualization and cloud environments
  • Clear communication in English, strong teamwork, and good self-management skills
  • Drive to learn, build, and improve
