We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to join our team of dedicated professionals.



Your mission

Bisly is a fast-growing building automation company transforming how buildings are managed, operated, and optimized. As we scale, we're looking for a Head of Operations to own and lead our end-to-end operational execution.

In this role, you are accountable for ensuring that what we sell is delivered successfully on time, at quality, and with healthy margins. You will lead project delivery, operations, and Customer Success, while acting as a key interface between customers, delivery teams, and Product. You are equally comfortable on building sites, in leadership meetings, and in data-driven performance reviews.

This is a hands-on leadership role with strong ownership, influence, and visibility across the company.



Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Operations at Bisly, you will be responsible for:

  • Own and lead end-to-end post-sales operations, including:

    • Project delivery and project management team;

    • Operations team (operational specialists);

    • Customer Success.

  • Take ownership of revenue delivery and margin performance (P&L);

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards;

  • Drive operational efficiency through process optimization, resource planning, and cost control;

  • Define, track, and continuously improve operational KPIs (delivery performance, utilization, gross margin, CS metrics);

  • Act as the primary operational interface to Product, translating customer and delivery insights into structured product feedback;

  • Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure smooth handovers and realistic delivery commitments;

  • Build scalable operational structures and ways of working to support company growth;

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations, project, and CS organization;

  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.



To succeed in this role, you'll have
  • Strong experience in operations, delivery, or project leadership, ideally in a B2B (construction, automation) or technology-driven environment;

  • Proven ability to lead multiple teams and complex operational setups;

  • Solid understanding of profitability, margins, and cost drivers;

  • Experience working closely with Product or Engineering teams;

  • Confidence operating in the construction / building automation context - building sites are not foreign to you or at least you are not afraid of them;

  • A hands-on, structured, and execution-focused leadership style;

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data and KPIs;

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

  • High level of spoken and written Estonian and English language skills.

Nice to have:
  • Experience in building automation, IoT, or related industries;

  • Exposure to P&L ownership or strong financial accountability;

  • Experience scaling operations in a startup or scale-up environment;

  • Familiarity with project management tools, ERP systems, or operational platforms.
