Senior UI and Interaction Designer

Our client, a fast growing sports gaming provider, is seeking a Senior UI and Interaction Designer to take ownership of user centred, high quality interface design across their interactive sports gaming products. This role is focused on creating clear UI, intuitive interaction flows, and scalable design systems for products that operate in real time sports environments. Motion design forms part of the work, although it is used to enhance clarity rather than as a core discipline.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UI and interaction design for gaming, sports betting, fantasy sports, fintech, or other fast paced digital products. You will help shape the design direction of the company's B2B product line and play a central role in strengthening consistent user journeys and interface behaviour across platforms. This role offers the opportunity to influence a high visibility product area and contribute to the growth of next generation sports gaming experiences.

Location: Fully Remote, Europe-based

As Senior UI and Interaction Designer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Design Leadership

• Work closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver consistent and high quality design work.
• Establish and maintain UI standards, design guidelines, and scalable component systems.
• Promote a practical and collaborative design culture that supports iteration and continuous improvement.

User Experience and Interface Design

• Create user centred designs based on product requirements, market needs, and real time sports interactions.
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity interface designs for mobile and web products.
• Build and maintain component libraries, UI kits, and design systems used across B2B partners.
• Design clear user journeys that explain outcomes, value changes, and fast moving sports data.

Interaction Design and Visual Behaviour

• Define interaction flows and interface behaviour for live events, outcomes, and system changes.
• Create interaction states, transitions, and visual feedback that support clarity and user engagement.
• Produce light motion assets, micro interactions, and visual transitions that enhance usability.

Delivery and Collaboration

• Prepare design packs, themed UI variants, and implementation assets for B2B partners.
• Work closely with developers to support accurate implementation and smooth handover.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the creation of new sports gaming features.

• Strong background in UI and interaction design for mobile or web products.
• Experience in gaming, sports betting, fantasy sports, fintech, or other real time digital environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and design systems.
• Ability to translate complex and fast changing sports or market data into clear interface designs.
• Understanding of interaction design principles and visual behaviour patterns.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating motion assets using After Effects or similar software.
• Experience working with real time data visualisation.
• Familiarity with sports user behaviour and gaming patterns.
• Experience working within B2B product environments.
