As a Strategy Lead, you will lead the strategic planning and execution process within your vertical domain. You'll partner closely with executive leadership to define the overall strategic direction, identify growth opportunities, and drive initiatives that strengthen the organization's competitive position.
About Us
Bolt is on a mission to make cities for people, not cars. We offer better alternatives for every purpose a private car serves — including ride-hailing, micromobility, and food and grocery delivery. We're building a future where people move easily and efficiently, powered by accessible and sustainable transport solutions.
About The Role
We're looking for a strategic leader who combines structured thinking with practical execution. In this role, you'll translate insights into clear theses, shape the strategic roadmap for your domain, and drive measurable business impact across the organization.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Opportunity & thesis-building: Conduct market, competitive, and trend analyses (leveraging domain expertise) to identify growth and optimization plays, partnership paths, and new business opportunities — shaping clear theses and business cases.
- Strategic planning & portfolio: Co-develop and refine organizational or vertical strategies with executives; align them with company vision and long-term goals; translate into priorities, roadmaps, budgets, and guardrails.
- Program delivery & governance: Plan, execute, and monitor strategic initiatives to deliver on time, on budget, and within scope; manage risks and dependencies; define KPIs, build tracking mechanisms, and report to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder & ecosystem alignment: Partner across functions and with senior leaders to gather input, build alignment, and maintain momentum; cultivate relationships with external partners, experts, and thought leaders to inform strategy and enable collaboration.
- Team leadership & continuous improvement: Mentor and develop your team; foster a collaborative, high-performing culture; codify best practices and champion continuous improvement in strategic planning and execution.
About you:
- Experience & scale: 6+ years in fast-paced strategy, business development, or related roles, with a proven record of leading strategic initiatives in complex organizations.
- Strategic, analytical & financial rigor: Strong structured thinking and analytical skills; proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting; ability to turn complexity into actionable insights and robust business cases. Working knowledge of SQL and Python is a big plus
- Communication & influence: Exceptional storytelling and presentation abilities; skilled at engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels; strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Program & portfolio execution: Demonstrated project management excellence, with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives concurrently; fluency in strategic frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
- Commercial & market acumen: Deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform decisions and anticipate shifts.
If you're a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of insight, influence, and execution, we'd love to hear from you.
Why you'll love it here:
- Work on high-impact initiatives that shape the future of urban mobility.
- Collaborate with experienced leaders in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
- Enjoy autonomy and flexibility in driving strategic priorities.
- Grow your career in a company that values ownership, innovation, and long-term thinking.
