
IT Support Specialist

The role combines remote end-user support with on-site interventions for hardware-related issues and complex incidents that cannot be resolved remotely. Support Engineers will act as an extension of the IT team, handling escalated cases from the Service Desk, performing hands-on troubleshooting, and providing smart-hands support when needed. On-site visits are conducted as required, ensuring business continuity and adherence to SLA targets across the regions.
Your tasks
- Providing remote and on-site technical support at customer locations in response to service requests (on demand)
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
- Performing hardware upgrades, replacements, and initial equipment setups at client sites
- Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity problems (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) both remotely and on-site
- Installing and configuring software applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Providing remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote access tools
- Logging and managing incidents and service requests using the internal ticketing system
- Supporting users with account access, password resets, and other routine service tasks (including Active Directory)
- Ensuring compliance with company security policies and IT standards during all support activities
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and basic configuration components, printer/scanner configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with configuring MS Outlook, Teams, and working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Understanding of LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi network configuration and maintenance
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and basic troubleshooting steps
- Knowledge of Active Directory and user account management
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP)
- Possession of an active driver's license
