We're looking for seven talented Software Developers to join our team.

Purpose of the role:

As a Software Developer, you will design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions that align with the company's vision and technical standards. You will take projects from concept to deployment, solving complex challenges, ensuring seamless system integration, and championing best practices in code quality, performance, and security. Working closely with teammates, product managers, and leadership, you will help shape the platform's capabilities, drive innovation, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture that values continuous improvement. 

You will be a critical enhancement to the growing Product Department, that manages the development of the following in-house products:

  • Bombay Wallet - The key entry point and heart of the Bombay Product ecosystem
  • Casino Management Software - Collection of Products and Back Offices used to set up and operate our Landbased Casinos and Wallet Customers
  • - Bombay's Online Casino extension
  • Loyalty ecosystem - Product for rewarding any activity within Bombay Ecosystem
How you will contribute: 
  • Lead critical projects or initiatives from understanding conception to deployment, ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Enforce high standards for code quality, including best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
  • Encourage innovation within the team by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Serve as an expert for complex technical challenges, guiding the team in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with other team members and leadership to ensure systems integrate seamlessly and align with the overall company architecture.
  • Be part of creating a positive and inclusive team environment where members feel valued and motivated.
  • Collaborate with product management and leadership to understand, prioritize and estimate work based on business needs.
  • Work with product managers, leadership, and other stakeholders to understand and help define the vision for the systems.
  • Champion security, scalability, and performance as core engineering principles in all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Represent engineering in cross-departmental discussions, helping translate business goals into reliable technical solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate development tools, frameworks, and processes to improve efficiency, code quality, and team productivity.
What we are looking for:
  • 3+ years of hands-on working experience with backend technologies like Elixir or Erlang.
  • Experience with technologies like: Phoenix LiveView, PostgreSQL, Docker, Protobuf, GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of any of the following would be a plus: , ,
  • Standard knowledge of HTML5/CSS3.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and RabbitMQ.
  • Good understanding of testing.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and data-heavy applications.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, and code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Previous experience in iGaming is a plus.
