The role:
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our platform is scalable, reliable, and high-performing. You'll work hands-on with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, while validating performance and scalability in real-world conditions. Your work will directly enhance the reliability of our multi-tenant SaaS platform as we continue to scale globally. You will collaborate with a talented and passionate team to solve complex challenges, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and reliability.
DevOps Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems to track platform health.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) together with the development team.
- Ensure smooth operation of our multi-tenant SaaS environment, including uptime and scalability.
- Manage cloud costs and budgets, delivering cost-efficient solutions.
- Maintain security best practices across all cloud environments.
Testing & Scalability Responsibilities
- Write and maintain automated tests in the language and framework of your choosing to validate functionality, integration, and load performance.
- Simulate real-world usage scenarios (e.g., generating thousands of support tickets) to stress-test system scalability and stability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Help identify performance bottlenecks and work on improvements to ensure the platform scales smoothly.
- Gradually expand into other projects after the initial cloud setup and scalability improvements are in place.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, Information technology or systems engineering.
- Equivalent practical experience (5+ years in DevOps/cloud roles) can substitute formal education.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, designing, deploying, and managing scalable infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Pulumi or similar).
- Experience working with CI/CD (e.g. GitLab or similar) pipelines and automated deployments.
- Experience writing automated tests (functional, integration, load, or performance tests).
- Experience with logging, alerting, and monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performance.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS systems.
- Fluency in English.
Additional beneficial skills include:
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Knowledge of performance/load testing tools.
- Basic understanding of QA processes or collaboration with QA teams.
- Familiarity with cloud management and security best practices.
- Knowledge of C#, Python or TypeScript
- Experience in a start-up environment or scaling cloud infrastructure for fast-growing applications.
