Mentoring Coordinator

Join a dynamic team dedicated to empowering students and fostering their success The Mentoring Coordinator, reporting directly to the Director of Student Access and Success, plays a key role in advancing ETSU's mission by supporting and guiding first-generation and/or low-income students through the BEST Mentoring Program. In this position, you'll help shape both short- and long-term goals, drive innovative initiatives, and ensure the program's resources are expanded and continuously effective. Your primary focus will be on providing personalized academic and personal guidance, implementing best practices, and creating a positive, lasting impact on students' educational journeys. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. One year of experience with mentoring or providing academic, career, and motivational advising to students.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree. Experience advising students from first generation and/or low-income backgrounds. Experience working in student services at an institution of higher education. 2-3 years of experience with youth, high school or college mentoring programs.
