Sony Music's Product Design Engineering and Global Operations (PDE + GO) Team is looking for an Engineering Manager (Platform Teams) to build and evolve our platform within our ever-growing team in either our London OR Tallinn Office.

● Cultivate a high-performance agile development team balancing executing new features while maintaining our existing system health
● Manage a team of full-stack engineers to deliver internal platforms
● Hold regular 1:1s, mentor engineers, and work with contractors
● Work with Directors to drive engineering vision
● Work with product to develop solutions that align with business cases and strategy
● Constantly improve our platforms
● Experiment with new technologies and integrate them into our stack when appropriate

● Have experience working in an agile team
● Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with the ability to drive complex projects
● Interested in music and in learning the intricacies of the music business
● Able to influence cross-functional teams and create a consensus between engineering teams
● Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
● Experience with React/frontend JS is a plus
● 2+ years in an engineering management role
● 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software products
● 5+ years in a scripting language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, etc
● Experience writing unit and integration tests
● Experience reviewing code changes
