We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Automation QA Engineer
with expertise in both manual testing and test automation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-performing software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and improve Insly's products by performing both exploratory and automated testing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to balance hands-on testing with the development and execution of automation scripts, contributing to the quality of our projects across the board.
About the role:
1) Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts in Playwright and Postman.
- Integrate and manage automated tests in CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs while collaborating with others for resolution.
- Perform API testing, analyse results, and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
2) Requirements
- Proven experience in manual and automated software testing, with strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Java for automation and hands-on experience with tools like Playwright or Postman for API testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and integrating automation into development pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
