ABB Motion High Power Division in Estonia is looking for a motivated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our great team. Safety, integrity, and sustainability are our fundamental cornerstones. Our organization has 350 professionals who are building a sustainable future together. You can be the accomplished health and safety ambassador promoting a safety culture and leading by example.
As an HSE Manager, you are indispensable in ensuring a meticulous focus on the environment and a health and safety culture. You analyze daily HSE performance, identify problems, and create preventive countermeasures together with all production and engineering teams. This also means supporting the implementation of HSE objectives, incident investigations, and root cause analyses within the respective organization.

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power division in Estonia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities, and requirements
Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.
Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives
Behavioral change is ensured and HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices
Qualifications for the role
Higher or vocational education from a suitable field
Experience and knowledge of occupational health and safety with good results
Capability to generate analyses and a process-oriented approach
Positive & engaged attitude combined with self-management and reliable cooperation skills
Fluency in English; Russian and Estonian are beneficial
Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards is beneficial
