ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in the insurance sector. If you have a strong background in delivering scalable ABAP solutions, enjoy collaborating across teams, and thrive in a structured, standards-driven environment, wed love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Design, develop, and document ABAP-based software components in close collaboration with business analysts, architects, and other developers.
  • Support internal teams by advising on standards, system processes, and technology usage across departments.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions for complex or multi-layered system requirements.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure all developments align with internal coding standards and industry best practices.
  • Participate in team ceremonies and support agile development cycles.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, including at least 2 years as an ABAP Developer.
  • Strong expertise in OO ABAP, with hands-on experience in custom development (e.g., reports, BADI enhancements) and configuration based on customer specifications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and integration techniques.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, documentation standards, and quality assurance practices.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and responsible approach to work
