About the Role

Saku Metall Uksetehas, part of the Saku Metall Group, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our modern metal door and steel profile manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process from planning to delivery. You will strategize with other internal teams to ensure smooth operations, drive process optimization, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. You'll also be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards to ensure every product meets our customers' expectations.

This is a key leadership role in our factory management team, perfect for someone who combines technical expertise with strong people and process management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate the entire production process from start to finish
  • Contribute to production planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of production professionals
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive efficiency improvements
  • Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant production environment
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and supply chain teams
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement LEAN or process optimization initiatives
  • Prepare reports and present performance data to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2+ years of production or manufacturing management experience
  • Strong organizational, planning, and managerial skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Solid understanding of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP or Axapta (Microsoft Dynamics AX), Power BI, and production management systems (ERP/LEAN tools)
  • Excellent command of Estonian and Russian (both required)
  • English at a working level is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
