As Upvest Enters The Next Stage Of Growth, We Are Looking For An Exceptional Product Manager - Taxes. You Will Work Directly With Mislav Ilich, Christian Wöhlke And Thomas Etheber Owning Topics Critical To Upvest's Product And Business Success
- Revolutionize the investment infrastructure in Europe by enabling 100% localised tax handling for millions of users -- an industry first. In doing so, you'll navigate different tax jurisdictions, work with top (tax) consultancies and software vendors across Europe and the UK. Your work will set new standards and literally free users from the tedious and frustrating burden of annual tax work, making their investment experience even more seamless and hassle-free.
- Help Europeans save millions of Euros on personal taxes by playing a key role in boosting users' investment returns and enabling localized tax wrappers in different markets. Your work will directly contribute to closing the retirement gap, and save taxes for millions of users, enhancing their financial security for the future.
- Expand Upvest's business operations internationally by navigating the complexities of European tax regulations and executing a clear strategy for phased product rollouts and market entry. Working with top fintech partners and innovative enterprises, you'll ensure the right product fit and drive a strategic approach to meet diverse regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Job Requirements
- You have [2-3+] years experience working in Product Management roles - ideally with focus on Investments and related taxes. Experience in financial services/investing, B2B SaaS or FinTech is a big plus.
- Understanding of and a focus on B2B clients' and their users' needs and how to delight them. You have a clear bias for impact and speed in product discovery and delivery.
- Be a sponge We don't need you to be a tax or financial expert. But you will need to be able to absorb knowledge on complicated topics quickly (e.g. specific tax computation rules, tax reporting flows and related user needs) and combine with your expertise on product management best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex concepts into easily consumable ideas, clear project phases and tangible, (client-) value generating product increments.
- Experience with common product manager's toolkits - such as product discovery, ticketing and documentation software (e.g., Linear, Slite, Miro, Figma etc.)
- Domain knowledge about investments and general capital markets with an exposure to related taxes is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
