Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our client's dynamic Expansion Team in Europe. In this high-impact role, you will define and execute payment strategies, develop key relationships with partners such as mobile network operators (MNOs), e-wallets, and local payment providers, and work closely with merchants to drive business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Partner Management

  • Develop strategies to grow payment opportunities in Europe.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key partners, including MNOs, e-wallets, A2A providers, and merchants.
  • Support seamless partner onboarding, ensuring compliance with business ethics and regulatory guidelines.
  • Negotiate with partners to optimize conversion, pricing, and marketing support while managing operational contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, acting as the go-to problem solver for partners.

Internal Collaboration & Communication

  • Work with EMEA management to align payment strategies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Legal, Finance, Sales) to finalize contracts and support technical integrations with payment partners.
  • Act as the partner champion within the organization and the company's ambassador to external partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, project management, or product development, particularly in payments, telco, eCommerce, or fintech.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile payments and alternative payment methods landscape.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing technical partnerships and integrations.
  • Proven analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and project management platforms (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
  • Fluent English required (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings.
