Content Analyst
We're looking for a curious and detail-oriented person to join our team as a Content Analyst at Genius Sports. If you enjoy working with data, solving problems, and figuring out how to make processes more efficient, this role could be a great fit. You'll help decide which sports, competitions and fixtures we include in our coverage. Questions like "Should we feature the Malta Football League on a busy Saturday, or would New Zealand Futsal add something new to our offering?" will be part of your day-to-day work. We'll provide the tools, support and data you need to make informed decisions. We are especially interested in people who love finding smarter, faster ways to get things done. If you naturally look for ways to automate tasks and improve workflows, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contribute to making decisions about which sports and competitions we should cover
- Creating and sharing coverage portfolio with internal teams and external clients
- Supporting operational strategy through data collection, entry and analysis
- Monitoring live sports coverage to ensure smooth and accurate delivery
- Looking for ways to improve how we manage and present competition-level data
- Contributing to content rights negotiations with reliable information
- Assisting colleagues and stakeholders with coverage-related questions and requests
What We're Looking For
- Clear and confident communication skills in English
- An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High attention to detail and a reliable, organized work style
- A strong interest in working more efficiently and finding smart ways to improve daily tasks
- Ability to manage deadlines and stay focused under pressure
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work shifts Mon-Fri 10-18 and 12-20 with at least 3 days onsite per week (probation period fully onsite)
Nice To Have
- Interest or background in sports or the betting industry
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Familiarity with process automation tools
Why Join
You'll work with a team that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement. We're passionate about data and sports, and we're always looking for better ways to do things. You'll have space to grow, share ideas, and make a real impact in a supportive and professional environment.
What's in it for you?
As well as a competitive salary and annual leave allowance, our benefits include health insurance, skills training and much more, depending on the location. We also offer a host of softer benefits, including many social events throughout the year such as summer and winter holiday parties, monthly team building events, sports tournaments, charity days and wellbeing activities.
How We Work
We have adapted a forward-thinking 'Ways of Working' framework, which sets out (amongst other things) the opportunities for Geniuses to work flexibly, remotely and on working holidays. It affects different teams and locations differently, so please ask for further information in how it would work with this role.
Our employees are empowered to stretch the boundaries of what's achievable, always reaching further and pushing the edges to see what gives. We collaborate, we innovate, and we celebrate. We will continue to grow as an organisation and continue to invest in our highly talented and diverse team of Geniuses.
Genius Sports Group is proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We recognize and celebrate the benefits that a diverse and inclusive workforce bring to our business, our customers and our staff. We welcome and will consider all applications regardless of age, different abilities or disability, gender re-assignment, marriage, pregnancy, maternity, race or nationality, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation (and any other applicable status). Please let us know when you apply if you need any assistance during the recruiting process due to a disability.
