We are looking for a Team Lead to join our growing team.
NB Please note that this role is on-site in Tallinn, Estonia. No relocation support or visa sponsorship is provided.
As a Team Lead at BWT you will contribute to: Team Leadership
  • Help the Team with day to day impediments and questions
  • Help the Team to ensure that technical initiatives are worked on, according to the architectural priorities
  • Facilitate Team's Scrum events
  • Act as a first point of contact for performance related and/or technical questions in the Team
  • Optimise team processes by analysing data on commitment delivery and implementing necessary improvements
  • Be accountable for the Team's overall performance and delivery of commitments
  • Cultivate a high-performing Team through shared responsibility and cross-functional cooperation
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Responsible for the hiring and onboarding in the Team
  • Evaluate recruitment needs of the Team
  • Participate in interview and case study steps of the recruitment process
  • Identify and assign a suitable mentor to ensure the new hire's success
  • Keep onboarding documentation always up to date and relevant
  • Evaluate the progress of the new hire's goals and development during the onboarding period
People Management
  • Making decisions on performance reviews, vacations, salary adjustments
  • Supporting and assisting team members with their career growth and development
  • Evaluate the need for extra mentorship for team members
  • 1on1 with Team members
  • Responsible for the dynamics and change management in the Team
You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Previous experience relevant to this role (Team Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, etc)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Various knowledge and tools for guiding and leading people (such as coaching; mentoring etc) 
  • Experience working with/leading Agile teams
  • iGaming experience would be an advantage
