Chief of Staff

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join the Bolt Business team and lead key cross-functional initiatives that shape the strategy and execution of our global operations.
Bolt Business is one of the fastest-growing verticals within Bolt, serving as our global B2B mobility and payments platform. With over 60,000 businesses across 50+ countries, we help companies move and operate efficiently around the world. As we continue to scale rapidly, we're hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the VP of Bolt Business to help take us to the next level.
About us
With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it's all thanks to our people.
We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.
Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission
About the role
As Chief of Staff, you will play a strategic and operational leadership role, the right hand to the VP, acting as a force multiplier and execution partner. You'll ensure alignment across teams, visibility on performance, and accountability at every level, driving operational excellence in a complex, fast-moving B2B environment.
You'll move seamlessly between strategy and detail, from helping shape cross-functional priorities with leadership to digging into numbers, identifying risks, and ensuring the business is executing against plan.
This role is ideal for someone who combines high analytical horsepower, strong business acumen, and exceptional organisational discipline, someone who thrives on making things happen.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Act as an extension of the VP's reach and visibility across the business, ensuring key decisions are executed and follow-through happens.
- Anticipate issues before they become problems, connecting dots across markets, domains, and functions.
- Ensure management alignment, keeping the team pulling in the right direction, spotting deviations early, and ensuring corrective action is taken.
- Ensure strategic priorities are aligned across teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance) and that leaders stay focused on the right outcomes.
- Drive operational rhythm: OKRs, business reviews, forecasting cycles, leadership meetings, and reporting cadence.
- Be "in the weeds" where needed, tracking progress, surfacing blockers early, and holding teams accountable for results.
- Support reporting and analytics, building visibility on key performance metrics and outcomes, ensuring leadership decisions are data-backed.
- Lead or coordinate special projects, cross-functional initiatives, internal communications, or strategic problem-solving missions.
- Maintain a pulse on team morale and culture; act as connective tissue between leadership and the broader organisation.
About you:
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, or leadership support roles, ideally in a B2B, SaaS, or high-growth environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills: fluent in metrics, dashboards, and KPIs, you speak data.
- Strong communication and influence skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across geographies and challenging when needed.
- You have high standards, you know what good looks like and ensure everyone meets the bar. You are the bar raiser.
- Bias to action, when something isn't working, you're on it. If you see inaction, you take action to get people moving; you bring relentless drive and progress.
- Ability to zoom out and zoom in, from defining a strategic priority to troubleshooting a reporting inconsistency.
- Ability to seamlessly transition across several challenges daily, high capability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Experience in building alignment and operational cadence across multiple teams.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing ambiguity at speed.
- Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.
Why you'll love it here:
- Play a direct role in shaping the future of mobility.
- Impact millions of customers and partners in 600+ cities across 50+ countries.
- Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world.
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work.
- Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week to foster strong connections and teamwork.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.*
*Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
