WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

You will play a key role in transforming how the bank operates across multiple countries as it migrates to Oracle FLEXCUBE. This means analyzing complex banking ecosystems, defining integrations, ensuring data alignment, and enabling smooth transitions between legacy systems and new platforms.

You will collaborate closely with POs, BAs, Architects, and Engineers in an Agile environment - mapping processes, clarifying requirements, documenting integrations, and ensuring that system behavior is fully understood and accurately delivered.

Your work will directly support core banking domains such as Accounts, Payments, Cards, and Lending, ensuring accuracy, stability, and successful migration to a modernized enterprise platform.

DO YOU HAVE...

5+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst in banking or with complex financial systems.

Strong domain knowledge in Accounts, Payments, Cards, or Lending.

Experience with core banking migration (Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar platforms).

Hands-on experience with integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, messaging).

Experience working with Agile, Jira, Confluence.

Excellent communication and analytical skills, able to bridge business and technical worlds.

Fluent English language skills.

NICE TO HAVE...

Good understanding of data structures, reporting, SQL or query languages.

ARE YOU WILLING TO...

Analyze and document banking systems, data flows, and integrations between legacy and FLEXCUBE platforms.

Perform gap analysis and define integration/process solutions across multiple banking domains.

Support data migration, reconciliation, and consistency checks.

Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to ensure aligned delivery.

Create clear specifications and manage Agile backlogs in Jira.

Participate in MVP handovers and UAT, ensuring stable end-to-end delivery.

Work in a hybrid/remote model and visit the office when needed.

Contribute to planning, refinement, and decision-making across teams.

Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and documentation.

Salary range for this position is from 3000 to 4200 EUR gross in Estonia. Also, we can provide a B2B collaboration option with an hourly rate up to 41 EUR.
