Job Description

Job summary: Facility Technician's job scope includes performing maintenance and repairs on building systems like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, as well as general facility upkeep and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and functional environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and cleaning systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and cleaning issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems or hazards  
  • Ensure that all facilities and equipment are maintained according towork, electrical, fire, surveillance and ESD-safety regulations and standards
  • Receiving and escorting contractors, service companies and business partners
  • Managing the warehouse of tools and various technical and maintenance equipment
  • Participation in equipment implementation and improvement projects
  • Other facility, administrative and production-critical tasks 

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Previous work experience as a facility or production technician
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical systems and plumbing
  • Ability to carry out repair and maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • English, Estonian and Russian language skill in communication level - both speaking and writing
  • Average computer skills

Preferred skills:

  • Higher or vocational education in mechanical and technical skills
  • Experience in working with safety protocols and procedures
