Technician

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to join our research and development team. At UP Catalyst, you will play a critical role in keeping our advanced production and R&D equipment running at peak performance. From maintaining and installing machinery to operating automated systems, your work will directly contribute to building the future of next-generation green technology.

Your Role:

• Maintain, repair, and install machinery and equipment within our production and R&D areas.
• Operate and maintain the automated synthesis unit, ensuring stable operation and optimal efficiency.
• Install new machinery/equipment according to technical drawings, specifications, equipment manuals, and safety standards.
• Quickly diagnose and fix machinery malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Be available to respond to critical equipment issues promptly during assigned working hours to ensure continuous production.
• Follow scheduled maintenance plans, including lubrication, calibration, validation, inspections, and parts replacement.
• Identify root causes of equipment performance issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance and installation activities.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, manuals, and installation procedures.
• Support various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation and upkeep of company facilities.

Some of the key traits we are looking for include:

• Proven experience in machinery maintenance, repair, and equipment installation.
• Proficiency in electrical maintenance.
• Experience with hot work is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to work flexibly and respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs.
• Strong commitment to safety and workplace best practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience with automated production equipment is preferred
• Hot work and forklift licenses are a plus.
