Head of Product Design, Ridehailing

We're looking for an experienced Head of Product Design to oversee the Ride-hailing and Business Product Design teams. You will also collaborate with other product verticals and functions within Bolt, to drive and execute UX- and business strategy across the organisation.

In this dynamic and hands-on role, you'll be managing and developing a high-performing team of UX professionals and their managers; together, you will drive the development of exceptional experiences that meet both user and business needs.

About the role

As a Head of Product Design, you'll be responsible for working directly with senior executives and leaders, making high-level decisions that impact the overall direction of the organisation.

Additionally, you should excel in supporting the professional growth of your direct reports, developing strong relationships with stakeholders, challenging current solutions, and enhancing the overall user experience across Bolt's biggest product vertical.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to discover new innovative services that compete with some of the industry's giants and drive product development through all stages from concept to launch.
• Linking business goals to user metrics for the product division and guarantee that the team stays dedicated to solving impactful user problems.
• Steering the vision and setting a high standard for design quality and user experience.
• Building, leading and nurturing your team's professional growth and development.
• Developing and executing design strategies that align with the product's business objectives and user needs.
• Fostering and nurturing the Design culture at Bolt.

About you:

• You have experience as a Manager in the field of UX, preferably in a fast-paced technology or internet-based company, and a proven track record of shipping digital products that serve millions of users.
• You have proven experience managing teams and possess strong English communication and collaboration skills, making you a great leader.
• You can showcase some past works to help us understand your past experiences.
• You're proficient in design tools and software, including Figma, Jira, Confluence, and various usability testing tools.
• You're a highly creative individual who takes the initiative in finding solutions to problems and takes ownership of your work.
• You stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and emerging technologies to apply this knowledge to your work.
