The Role

We are looking for a
Senior Accountant
based in
Tallinn, Estonia
, to lead our accounting operations and guide our finance team through an important transition. If you are a structured, detail-oriented professional with leadership experience and a passion for building efficient processes, this role is for you. You will play a central role in consolidating bookkeeping in-house, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and supporting our migration to NetSuite.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead and mentor a growing team, shape the accounting function of a scaling company, and gain hands-on experience with multi-entity, cross-border accounting.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the migration of bookkeeping processes from local platforms into NetSuite, ensuring smooth and stable daily operations.
  • Establish and oversee accurate, timely, and compliant month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of accountants and AR/AP specialists, reducing reliance on external accountants.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance & Controlling team, local auditors, and external advisors.

Our 5-star candidate:

  • Has 5–7 years of experience in accounting, ideally with leadership responsibility.
  • Holds an accounting degree; ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
  • Has proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, process improvement, compliance, and team management.
  • Brings experience in multi-entity and cross-border accounting, ideally in a scaling or international company.
  • Is detail-oriented, structured, proactive, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Is fluent in English. Any additional languages are welcome.
  • Has a strong background in accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
  • Bonus: knowledge of tax compliance processes (VAT, CIT across multiple jurisdictions).
