Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

As the Certified Peer Recovery Specialist at East Tennessee State University's Addiction Medicine Fellowship Clinic, your lived experience and certification allow you to directly support those battling substance use and behavioral addictions. You'll manage a caseload of high-risk patients, working closely one-on-one and with their loved ones to set individualized treatment goals. Through compassionate peer support, advocacy, and service coordination, you'll help people every day achieve whole-person wellness and long-term recovery. You'll conduct community outreach to share your message of hope and help more people access the care they need. Want to develop your leadership? The CPRS Coordinator is a key player in the growth of the Addiction Medicine program and the success of the patient's outcomes. * Current patients of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship or former patients of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship discharged less than two years from this job posting, are not eligible for hire due to standards of confidentiality and the best interest of our patients. Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in addiction care (this may include knowledge gained through an educational internship) OR Associate's degree or higher in Social Work or a related field Certification: Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist at the time of hire Licensure: Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
