The Department of Family Medicine is accepting applications for a Patient Care Specialist for the Bristol Family Medicine Clinic . The Patient Care Specialist works under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager performing clinical duties. Work performed involves knowledge of the basic principles and practices of nursing, and a variety of tasks in an ambulatory health care setting including: Assisting professional nurses in all aspects of clinical care Administering injections Performing EKG's Gathering specimens Assisting with special procedures and general workups Performing other related non-professional nursing and clerical duties as required.
