We're Hiring: Senior Cyber Range Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Cyber Range Engineer to join our infrastructure team and take a technical lead role in preparing and supporting global events.

Tallinn HQ (on-site for the first 3–6 months, then hybrid/remote possible)

What You'll Do

  • Take the lead in preparing and supporting cyber range deliveries.
  • Deploy and adapt training and exercise content to meet customer needs.
  • Work with a broad spectrum of IT systems:
  • Networks, routers, firewalls
  • Linux & Windows servers, desktop systems
  • Core services (DNS, mail, web, Active Directory)
  • Security tools (Arkime, Security Onion, Elastic Stack)
  • Container-based content (Docker)
  • Use Ansible and automation tools to build and deploy content across VMware vSphere and AWS (with vSphere as the main platform).
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and ensure smooth delivery during live events.
  • Collaborate with international teams and (if you're up for it) travel to deliver events worldwide.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong systems engineering background (Linux, Windows, networking).
  • Practical experience with VMware vSphere, plus working knowledge of AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with automation (Ansible or similar).
  • Confidence working with diverse IT systems and adapting quickly to new technologies.
  • Ability to lead technical troubleshooting in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Must be a citizen of an EU or NATO member country.
  • Soft skills: Able to take ownership and responsibility, work independently after onboarding, and lead without requiring micromanagement or constant hand-holding.

Bonus Points If

  • You have strong "human interface" skills: able to express yourself fluently in spoken English and interact confidently with customers during technical meetings.
  • You've already experienced cyber exercises or events, either as a participant or an organizer.
