Temporary - Grounds/Turf Worker

Job Summary
The ETSU Grounds Department is seeking applicants for temporary grounds crew members. The temporary grounds crew opportunity offers a 4-day work week and flexible work schedule when possible. Hours are typically 7:15 am – 3:15 pm on weekdays. This may change depending upon workload or weather conditions. This entry-level grounds position will give applicants the opportunity to learn the operation and maintenance of all manner of lawn equipment. The ETSU Grounds crew maintains the ETSU golf course, athletics fields, and the campus grounds, which is home to 15,000 students and 400 acres. We take pride in our work and creating a beautiful campus environment that hosts students, staff, and the community. Employees in this class are under general supervision. Facilities employees may be required to report outside their regularly scheduled times during emergency closures or during inclement weather to perform essential functions including snow removal duties. Required Qualifications
Required to possess and maintain a valid Driver License.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in golf course, athletic fields, grounds, or horticultural maintenance preferred.
