Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain operational and financial Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements and design concepts used across all dashboards, ensuring consistency in users' UI/UX experience.
  • Utilize SQL to explore databases, searching for relevant data to be used in reports.
  • Formulate requirements for the data engineering team to fetch and transform data needed for dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on using Power BI dashboards.
  • Drive data literacy across the organization with a dedicated team of data experts.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in developing dashboards using Power BI.
  • At least 2 years of experience in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Proven experience in business analysis to understand and translate business requirements into data visualizations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including creating complex dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in visualizing dashboards according to Figma mockups and design principles used in the organization.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying databases, data extraction, and transformation. Analytical abilities to link data from databases with business requirements and information from business applications.
  • Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced calculations and measures in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Power Query M language for data transformation and preparation in Power BI.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and tools.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide meaningful insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data and visualization issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail in data analysis and visualization design.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) data structures and experience in using D365 data for building dashboards.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience with Direct Query and incremental data load processes in Power BI for efficient data handling.
  • Understanding of the industry-specific data and metrics relevant to the company.
