Amazon Catalog Specialist*
*Key Responsibilities:

  • Catalog Management: Manage and update all product listings in Amazon Seller Central, including titles, bullets, descriptions, images, backend keywords, and variation structures to ensure retail readiness and SEO alignment.
  • Listing Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to existing listings to improve discoverability, conversion rate, and keyword indexing — in collaboration with the advertising and creative teams.
  • Deal & Coupon Scheduling: Plan, submit, and track Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Prime Exclusive Discounts, coupons and promotions to support sales initiatives and promotional events.
  • Promotions Calendar Management: Maintain a detailed internal calendar of live and upcoming deals, deadlines, coupon expirations, and promotional activities to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Listing Health & Error Resolution: Identify and resolve listing issues such as suppressed listings, variation mismatches, or stranded inventory using Amazon's tools and case management system.
  • Performance Tracking & Light Analysis: Monitor basic metrics (e.g., sessions, CVR, sales per listing) and flag underperforming listings or promotions. Provide support with ad-hoc analysis to inform catalog or ad decisions.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with advertising, design, and inventory teams to ensure listings and promotions are aligned with active campaigns and available stock.
  • Amazon Ecosystem Awareness: Stay up to date with Amazon Seller Central changes, category template updates, and promotional tool features to proactively adapt workflows.
  • Supporting AI-Enhanced Workflow Integration: Collaborate in leveraging AI-powered tools to streamline catalog management and surface optimization opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing product listings and/or promotional tools within an ecommerce platform (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or similar).
  • Experience submitting and managing online deals, discounts, and coupons — with an understanding of timelines, approval requirements, and restrictions.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining product data, cleaning datasets, and performing basic reporting or analysis.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, process consistency, and compliance with platform requirements.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional roles, collaborating with advertising, creative, and operations teams to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Proactive learner who stays current with ecommerce platform updates, tools, and best practices for listing optimization.
